1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Score My Match (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Is

Score My Match is a free tool that lets you create live scoreboards for local cricket and football matches and share them via a link. No account is required. Match data is stored temporarily and deleted automatically after 30 days of inactivity.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or hateful (including team names)
Attempt to interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service
Use automated tools to create matches at scale without permission

We reserve the right to delete any match data that violates these rules without notice.

4. No Account, No Ownership

Because the Service requires no account, we have no way to verify identity or establish ownership of a match. The scoring password is your only access control. If you lose it, we cannot recover it or grant access to that match.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Match data is stored for a maximum of 30 days from the last score update and then permanently deleted. We make no guarantees about data availability. Do not rely on this Service to preserve match records.

6. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of match data, or that the Service will be available at any given time. Use it at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Score My Match and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost data or incorrect scores.

8. Advertising

Viewer pages display ads served by Google AdSense. These ads are provided by Google and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

9. Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, India.
