What is a 5-a-side scoreboard?
A live score for small-sided football on turf, that everyone not at the ground can follow on their phone. Score My Match makes one in 30 seconds, with no app and no account, and one link sends every goal to the group.
How does the match time work for 5-a-side?
5-a-side is set to 45 minutes, two halves of 22 and a half, or any length you book. Tap Halftime and Full Time as you go, the clock runs on through both halves, and an alarm tells you when the half is up.
Can I keep up with a fast 5-a-side match?
Yes. A goal or a card is one big tap, on the board straight away, with no screens to get through. Names are asked afterwards and you can skip them.
How many goals are usually scored in a 5-a-side match?
Plenty. 5-a-side is usually high-scoring, because the small pitch and fast tempo bring chances quickly, which is exactly why a live score is worth having: there is nearly always something to update.
Can I run two 5-a-side matches back-to-back in one turf booking?
Yes, and the second one is a single tap. Tap Play again at full time and the same two sides line up for the next game, with the head-to-head adding up across the session. The link already in your group chat follows whichever game is on.

Can I share the live score in a WhatsApp group?
Yes. Drop the match link into the WhatsApp group before kick-off and everyone who could not make the booking follows every goal live, with no login and no download.

No. The match link is public and read-only, and it opens in any phone browser, including the one inside WhatsApp. Nobody watching signs up for anything.
Can I track which player scored a goal?
Yes, if you want to. Add a name after the goal, credit an assist, or mark it as a penalty or an own goal, and viewers get a scorers list with the minutes. Skip it and the goal still counts the moment you tap.
What happens if a 5-a-side match finishes level?
Call it a draw, or settle it on penalties. Tap Scored or Missed after each kick and the group follows the shootout live, kick by kick, until the result reads something like "Falcons won 4-3 on penalties".
