What is a 7-a-side scoreboard?

How is 7-a-side different from 5-a-side?
7-a-side is 14 players on a bigger pitch instead of 10, so there is more room to pass and the game is more tactical. Matches usually run 60 minutes, two halves of 30, instead of 45.
How many players do I need for a 7-a-side match?
Fourteen to fill both sides, and most groups bring a few subs. Short on the day? Play 6 against 6 and score it as 7-a-side anyway: nothing here checks the numbers.

7-a-side is set to 60 minutes, two halves of 30, or any length you play. Tap Halftime and Full Time as you go, the clock runs on through both halves, and an alarm tells you when the half is up.
Do viewers need to create an account to follow the score?
No. The match link is public and read-only, and it opens in any phone browser, including the one inside WhatsApp. Nobody in the league signs up for anything.
Can I track which player scored?
Yes, if you want to. Add a name after the goal, credit an assist, or mark it as a penalty or an own goal, and viewers get a scorers list and a timeline. Run the games as a league and the goals, assists and cards add up across every match.
Can I record a penalty shootout for a knockout match?
Yes. When a knockout is level at full time, play extra time or go straight to penalties. Tap Scored or Missed after each kick and viewers follow the shootout live, until the result reads something like "Falcons won 4-3 on penalties".
