Schedule a club fixture

On your club page, tap Add a fixture, pick your team and type the opponent, or pick another of your teams for practice, and add the format, kickoff time and ground. It shows on the club page as what is next, and on the day Start scoring creates the live match, whose result lands on the page at full time.

Nothing is created yet

A fixture is a plan, not a match

A club fixture is a game on your club page that has not started. It is two team names, a format, and a time and ground if you know them. No match exists until somebody taps start on the day, so a fixture made by mistake is removed in one tap and leaves nothing behind.

On the club page

Add one

  1. Add a fixture

On your club page, tap Add a fixture.

  2. Say who and how

Team A is the home side and starts as your team. Type the opponent as Team B, or tap Swap the sides for an away game. Then pick the match format.

  3. Say when and where

Add the kickoff time and the ground if you know them. These are the same questions the scorer's Time and place card asks, so the scorer never has to answer them again.

  4. Save it

Tap Add fixture. It appears on the club page under what is next.

Who is playing

Practice, and other clubs

Each side has your teams as chips under it. Pick one of your teams on both sides and the fixture is practice: an A team against a B team, or one team split into two with a name for each side, like Reds and Blues. It shows on your page, marked as practice, and never counts in your record.

Playing another club that uses Score My Match? Once the fixture is saved, tap Invite on it and send them the link. Whoever opens it signs in and picks which of their teams is playing, and the game is on both club pages, each with its own team. There is no search for clubs, on purpose: the link goes into the chat you already share with their captain.

From fixture to result

On the day

Tap Start scoring on the fixture to create the live match, with the teams and format already filled in. Hand the scoring to anybody with the scoring link and password; they do not need to be in the club.

When the match finishes, its result lands on the club page by itself, with nothing to keep. A match that was started and never finished is never recorded.

To keep a fixture off the club page, turn off Show on the club page. The match link still works for anybody who has it.
