How a series counts

A best-of series is decided on wins. In a best of three, the first team to two wins takes it; in a best of five, three; in a best of seven, four. A drawn game is played and counted, but it is not a win for either side, so the series goes on until somebody reaches the number.

Once a team cannot be caught, the series is over and no further game is offered, because starting one could only ever be an error.

    Each game is a live match with its own score. Swap ends or batting order as you like: the series knows which team is which.

    A finished game points to the next one, so the link already in the group keeps working for the whole series.

A best-of series is for two teams. For three or more, a round-robin league plays every team against every other and ranks them in a table.

What happens if a game is drawn?

It counts as played and neither side gets a win, so the series is still decided on wins.

Do we need a new link for each game?

No. A finished game points to the next one, so the link already in the group keeps working all series.

Can the teams switch ends or innings order?

Yes. The series knows which team is which, so swapping sides between games does not mix up who has won.

Can I start a series after the first game?

Yes. At full time, tap Play again, same teams and choose Best of 3, and the match you just scored becomes game one.
