How to embed a live score on your club website

Open the match's Stream tab, tap Embed score, copy the embed code and paste it into an HTML block on your site. The card shows the live score, updates on its own and links to the full scorecard.

Before, during and after

What visitors see

Before kickoff the card shows the two teams and the announced start time, if there is one, and never a made-up 0-0. During the match it shows the score, the period and the running clock for football, or the batting side's total, the overs and what the chase needs for cricket. At full time it shows the result.

Every card carries a Full scorecard link that opens the match page in a new tab, for visitors who want the goals, the overs and the moments.

Why it works this way

Why is it an iframe and not a plugin? An iframe works on every website builder there is, needs nothing installed, and cannot break the rest of your page. The card updates itself inside it.

Pro

An embed opens for a match a Pro club has taken on: started from one of its fixtures, or kept at full time. Scoring the match and sharing its link are free either way. See Pro for what a plan includes.

Troubleshooting

If it does not show

  • A blank box usually means your site blocks frames from other addresses. Allow https://scoremymatch.com in your site's content security policy, under frame-src.
  • A padlock means the match has not been taken on by a Pro club yet. The scorer's Stream tab says what would open it.
Need to know

Questions people ask

About embed a live score on your website.

Does it work on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Yes, anywhere that accepts an HTML or embed block. The code is one iframe, so there is no plugin and nothing to install.

Do visitors need to refresh the page?

No. The card updates within a moment of each tap. If the connection drops it keeps the last score and says it is reconnecting.

What does the card show before kickoff and after full time?

Before kickoff, both teams and the announced start time if there is one, never a made-up 0-0. At full time, the final score and the result.

How big is it?

Up to 480 pixels wide and 400 tall. It shrinks to fit a narrower column and never stretches wider.

Does embedding need Pro?

Yes. An embed opens for a match a Pro club has taken on: started from one of its fixtures, or kept at full time. Scoring and sharing the match link stay free.
