Let anyone score your club's match without giving them access

Anybody can score your match with no access to the club page, because a match reaches the page in one of five ways: the scorer saves it at full time, saves it later from their account page, says yes to your ask, plays it as the club's own game, or sends your team a link to save it. In every case the person who scored it is the one who gives it.

  • Saved at full timeA scorer with a page for that team saves the match, and it goes straight onto the page.
  • Saved laterA finished match their phone scored shows Save on its row of their account page.
  • Asked for by your clubYour club asks with the match code, and it joins only if the scorer taps Yes.
  • The club's own gameA fixture on your page, or one you were invited to, lands there at full time by itself.
  • Sent by a team linkThe scorer taps Get the team links and sends your side its own link to save it.
The short answer

Scoring needs no access

Anybody can score your club's match: send them the scoring link and the password, and they score from their own phone. They never join your club, see its settings or touch its page. What they hold is the one thing that proves they scored the match, and that is what lets it reach your page.

And no sixth

  10. Sent to the team by link to Club page
  1. Saved at full time

A scorer who already has a page for that team saves the match for their side at the final whistle, and the save puts it straight on the page.

  2. Saved later

A finished match their phone scored shows Save on its row of their account page, so it can be saved, and put on the page, afterwards.

  3. Asked for

Your club asks for the match by its code, and the scorer taps Yes on the Settings tab of their scoring page.

  4. The club's own game

The game was scheduled as a fixture on your page, or another club invited you to theirs, so its result lands on the page at full time with nothing to save. A scorer who is a member can also make a live match the club's from its Settings tab.

  5. Sent to your team

At the foot of the save card, under Or send it to a team, the scorer taps Get the team links and sends each team its own link. Whoever opens yours signs in and saves it as your side's, onto your team page.

Tip

The easiest way. Schedule the game as a club fixture, start it on the day, and hand the scoring link and password to whoever is holding the phone.

No browsing

Why there is no sixth

There is no search, no directory and no list of matches to pick from. Every one of the five ways ends with the person who scored the match giving it, so a club page only ever holds results somebody stands behind.

Need to know

Questions people ask

About ways onto a club page.

Does the scorer need to be a member of the club?

No. Scoring needs only the scoring link and password. Putting a match on a club page never asks the scorer to join anything.

Is there a way to browse matches to add?

No, on purpose. There is no search and no list of other people’s matches, so a club can only be given a match by somebody who scored it.

Can the scorer send it to our team without joining?

Yes. At full time the save card has Get the team links: one link per side, and whoever opens yours signs in and saves it as your team's.

Which way is easiest?

A club fixture. Schedule the game on the club page, send whoever will score it the scoring link on the day, and the result lands on the page by itself.
