Undo takes back the newest tap
Everything on a match page is worked out from what you recorded: every goal, card and delivery, in order. So fixing a mistake is never editing a number. It is taking back the record that was wrong, and letting the score be worked out again.
Tap Undo
Under the scoring buttons, tap Undo. The newest goal, card or delivery is taken back.
Record it again
Record what actually happened: the goal for the other side, or the delivery as it was bowled.
Carry on
Every open viewer page shows the corrected score within a moment. Nobody needs to refresh.
Wrong name, right goal? Leave the score alone and tap the entry to fix the name where it is. That is free, below. A name is always optional, and the score never waits for one.
Football and cricket
Undo takes back the newest goal or card, and keeps working after the final whistle, so a goal given to the wrong side at 89 minutes can still be fixed at full time. During a penalty shootout it takes back the newest kick.
Undo takes back the newest delivery of the innings being scored, and the batting and bowling figures are worked out again with it. At the end of an innings the app asks you to confirm before moving on, which is the moment to check the total.
Fix a name
A misspelt or wrong name is the most common mistake there is, so fixing one is free, needs no account and works at any time until the match expires, full time included. A name never changes the score.
Tap any goal, card or shootout kick and change the player or the assist. Their goals and cards move to the right name.
Tap an over under Overs to change who bowled it, or open the Batting order to rename any batter, including one already out. Every ball stays where it is and the figures follow the name.
Correct an older entry
Undo only ever takes back the newest thing, so fixing a goal from twenty minutes ago means undoing everything since and recording it again. With Pro on a club, or a match pass on this match, tap the entry instead and change it where it is.
Tap any goal or card under Match events to change the team, the minute or the kind of goal, or to delete it. A shootout kick can be switched between scored and missed. The score is worked out again straight away.
A delivery cannot be changed in place yet: a wrong ball is still undone and recorded again.
Check before it counts
A match can be undone while it is live and for its 30 days. Once you keep it, the kept match is the record: a manager of the club that kept it, or whoever bought its pass, can still fix a name, and changing anything else needs Pro. Check the score before you walk off the pitch.
Questions people ask
About fix a scoring mistake.
What does Undo take back?
The newest thing you recorded: the last goal, card or delivery. Tap it again to take back the one before.
Can I undo after the final whistle?
In football, yes: Undo still takes back the newest goal or card at full time. In cricket, Undo works while an innings is being scored.
Do viewers see the mistake?
For a moment, then the correction. The score is worked out from what was recorded, so taking a goal back changes it everywhere at once.
I tapped the right team but the wrong name. What now?
Tap the goal under Match events and change the name where it is. Fixing a name is free, at any time, and never touches the score. The name is always optional, so skipping it is fine too.
